Carol Ann Petren had long wanted to spend time in Africa to do her small part in helping the less fortunate. When she heard that Betsy King, one of her golf heroes, was on a mission to bring clean water to remote villages in Zambia through Golf Fore Africa, she decided to come along on a trip to dedicate a water well and spend time with the Zambian people. She never expected that these wonderful people of Zambia would return the generosity threefold!
